Fresh-Aire UV manufactures a wide range of germicidal ultraviolet light products designed to help reduce energy usage and system maintenance, and increase equipment service life. The products apply to systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, PTAC’s, fan coils, mini-splits, commercial HVAC systems, ice machines, and grease hoods.

LEED Accreditation

The Fresh-Aire UV light technologies meets LEED accreditation requirements for indoor environmental quality, through reduced energy usage and reduced system maintenance and cleanings with hazardous chemicals.

Marketing Materials

All Fresh-Aire UV marketing literature is printed on sustainably sourced paper using environmentally friendly inks. The majority of our advertising is electronic not paper-based

Manufactured Materials Recycling Program

The following materials used in the manufacturing process are recycled: scrap copper wire, aluminum, UVC lamps, electronic circuit boards, paper, plastics and cardboard.

Product Recycling

Fresh-Aire UV re-manufactures warranteed and returned products and is developing a consumer UV-C lamp return system.

Energy Conservation

The Jupiter Florida facilities of Fresh-Aire UV have implemented the following programs:

• High SEER rated variable-speed HVAC systems in the plant and offices.

• UV-C lights and Purity Filtration systems reduce energy robbing mold growth and
improved indoor air quality which saves 5-8% on AC bill and reduces worker sick days.

• Programmable thermostats

• Energy star electronic ballasts and CFL lamps throughout the entire building.
