The entire team at Fresh-Aire UV is thrilled to win the 2020 AHR Innovation Award in IAQ announced at AHR Expo. What an incredible honor to be selected out of all the impressive nominees. Our own Chris Willette and Aaron Engel are here accepting the award and recognition at the AHR awards ceremony. Congratulations to the other winners in their respective categories pictured below. Exciting times for Fresh-Aire UV!

We did it! Fresh-Aire UV couldn’t be prouder and more excited to be selected with the winning IAQ product / technology in the coveted 2020 AHR Innovation Award competition competition’s Indoor Air Quality category. This award represents the HVACR industry’s most innovative products, systems, and technologies and we believe this perfectly represents the PLP-LED.Hosted annually at AHR Expo, products in 10 industry categories are recognized for their innovative contribution to HVACR.  Fresh-Aire UV will be formally recognized during the 2020 AHR Expo, February 3-5 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Through a panel of third-party ASHRAE member judges, Fresh-Aire UV’s Purity Low Profile LED 1” Polarized Filter / LED Disinfection System (PLP-LED) was evaluated and selected as a category winner based on a combination of innovative design, creativity, application, value and potential market impact.

The PLP-LED filter and disinfection system is the first 3-stage 1-inch polarized HVAC filtration system to incorporate mini-LED technology.  This cutting-edge product offers high-efficiency filtration that captures 97 percent of particles down to 0.3 microns in size.   Available in the most common filter sizes, the 3-stage 1” polarized HVAC filtration system delivers the effectiveness of an ultra-high-efficiency filter in a low-static pressure 1” design and provides an advanced antimicrobial UV reactive media and disinfecting LED array.  The PLP-LED represent the very best in filtration providing maximum particle removal and surface disinfection while reducing airborne odors & VOCs.

By achieving this award, Fresh-Aire UV and the other category winners will vie for the 2020 Product of the Year Award which recognizes a company and its product as the most inventive and original product of the year at the 2020 AHR Expo in Orlando, Florida.
